Lower seat height / ride height

Been a fan of these bikes for years and didnt think I would ever be able to get one. Being a shorty I always thought that it was not a good idea to invest thousands only to drop the blasted thing at every opportunity.

On reading this thread I see the bike can be lowered considerably. So I will look in to getting a shot on a GS. My present bike is a KLX650 which is quite a tall machine but its light and that can compensate for the tall saddle. That and fitting lowering links and supermoto wheels has made all the difference.

So a BMW1150GS may well be next on my biking list.

Far too tall for me - 1150 GS is lower, believe it or not!!

Go on, go on, go on - buy one - you won't regret it!!!
