I have recently got a 2010 1200GS with Premium and dynamic packs fitted.
This means it has the adjustable electronic suspension thingy that I can't remember the name of!!:comfort
Can a lowered seat be fitted to my bike with these options fitted? I seem to think that it can't but can anyone confirm this?
Does anyone know if you can get a lowered seat from BMW? If so how much is it?:D

Thanks

Clive

Have a word with your local dealer. He will be able to tell you definately yes or no. I would think it's a yes. If you can see the top of the battery when you remove your seat, you'll probably be fine.

Or you could try the reupholstery route which is cheaper and the bike still looks stock.

I paid £100 for reshaping and the addition of a gel insert to make it more narrow and more flat with a lower rear/higher front, for me its a major improvement over the stock seat.

Thanks for all the prompt replies:)
Also thanks for the eBay link, I might have a bid on that and see how it works out. At worst I will have to stick it back on eBay!

Don't get a standard or use a BMW low seat if you like long distance, I've got one on my GSA and it's bloody hell after 100 miles, Maybe thats why the wife calls me a hard arse!
