Hi.
Modified my 3 week old f800gs thanks to rain, over inflated tyres (thanks local BMW motorrad dealer who shall remain nameless) and an over-inflated sense of my abilities.:augie

So, having mashed the thing into the tarmac and bent the OE bars, I didn't fancy coughing up 120 quid plus tax for new genny ones so I got the Renthal Fatboys for the KaTooM Adv, as recommended by Wayne at London Road Inc (LRI). :thumb

These bars have about an inch lower rise than the bog ones, and they have a much nicer sweep IMO.

They do clamp straight in but you will need two 100mm M8 countersunk Allen bolts and matching rawl nuts to replace the bar end retaining torx bolts.

You will also need to spend some time finding the sweet spot where the bars feel comfy, and they dont contact with the screen or the tank on full lock either side, although to be fair I have the BMW brush guards which complicates that dynamic slightly.

Ride it round the block (or in my case on a 60 mile round trip to work) before you drill the bars () for the fixing screw in the left hand grip, to make sure you're happy:D. I used the indicator switches as a bit of a guide as that felt most familiar.

I fink that's it....

Let me know how you get on. Oh yeah, and thanks to Wayne at LRI for the help/coffee/use of tools/clever ideas.....:beerjug:
