Your footrest, being spring loaded should lower themselves, Unless its the pillion ones your referring to.

LOL - twit!

Just picked up my bike having had Verholen peg lowerers (is that a word?) fitted. Here's a pic. I thought that they were meant to position your pegs lower & further forward, so I have a sneaking suspicion they can be fitted in either of two ways - anyone with them fitted care to comment? Despite the possibility of a mis-fit, the levers are in usable positions.....

Mike,

mine are fitted the same way. Not to say that I fitted mine right of course. :)

The levers are probably useable because Linds would have fitted the extra gear and brake linkage pieces that come with the kit.

simple way ?

I lowered my front pegs by fitting Honda pan pegs, ( wider, etc) They fit straight on but need spacer washers and a 5-6m distance piece between peg and holder to get peg level right, Lowers down 1" and is a lot more comfortable. Other Honda`s pegs can be the same,ie d/ville etc. Also no need to alter control levers.

Lower?

Why on earth would you want them lower? They scape easy enough where they are, I'd like 'em higher!!!!

TOSSERVILLE.

Lowered mine hoping to be able to scrape them on the local roundabout, but still can`t scrape them, could be the torque bar on the back making the back higher.

And the WP rear shock . . . but more importantly your bike, metaphorically speaking, tightens its sphincter every time you get on it!

sphincter n Anat a ring of muscle surrounding the opening hollow organ and contracting to close it.

Had to look that word up, my bike has one of them ? COOL

Be carefull with off road riding with lowered pegs, it means less ground clearance . My friend had those on his GS 1150.We went to Spain 2 weeks ago and one day he hit a stone during touchdown after a jump. Left peg just hit a stone.
Cracking his alu case.
