Lowering kits

Hi folks,

just looking for a bit of help here regarding a relative of mine who has a very small inside leg, oo-er.

Do Bmw do their own lowering kits for the 650?? I have searched and found a few posts which mention Koubalinks and one which mentions another make. Also found posts saying to soften up the rear shock as much as possible, but i know this alone will not be enough.

Please help as it might save all the embarassing falls at every set of traffic lights, it isn't good for confidence levels

Hi!

There is ''Factory Lowered 650's'' and Koubalinks.
And smaller wheels.
And there is the Scarver - the beltdriven beauty with a hole in front of the seat! You get 3 sizes of the seat for the Scarver.


If this is not enough you better get a sidecar if you still want a BMW.

I'm sorry, but I don't think there are much more to do.
I guess those exstra wheels is not a good idèa...

Hi Trevmc,
which 650 are you thinking of lowering?F or R series
if it is the F650GS,you and Liv have mentioned a couple of ways.
ie koubalinks or buying a bmw GS lowered version.
other options, get a lower rear suspension and get the forks lower.
(but then need to sort out the side and centre stands.).

plenty of info on the f650 uk and the chaingang usa sites.

but in answer to your question

not for the gs, unless you buy a factory lowered one.
