First post here. Only had my R1200GSA for 2 weeks but been out and about on it nearly every day since I got it.
I live in the Adelaide Hills, in South Australia, so hundreds of Kms of windy roads right on my doorstep.
Anyway - I found the rear brake pedal was too high for me, being 6'4" with long legs, even with the flip bit flipped up (the gear change lever was too high too, but I adjusted that pretty easily) however there is no way to adjust the brake pedal down. I did a search here, but didn't find anything on this topic.
Being a farmer, I discovered I could unclip the black plastic cover on the pedal stopper, and slide a 1 inch length of 1/4" fuel pipe over the stopper, which makes the pedal sit about 1/2 an inch lower!! I had to adjust the brake cylinder push thing to compensate, but that took about 1 minute. Checked the brake lights, checked the feel, and good to go.
Very pleased with such a simple mod
Good website here BTW. Lots of good stuff for someone new to GSA's.
Cheers
David
