luggage options

I've been thinking about the different luggage options for the 1150GS, and noticed that Boxer Design have what they call a 'basic carrier system' plate, which enables you to mount a top case nearer the centre of the bike. As i don't carry a pillion, it looks like a good idea. Does anyone have any experience of this arrangement? (good or bad?)

no - but i was thinking of getting one as well. if the reports are good, perhaps we could see if anybody else wants one - and buy together and maybe save a bit of green in postage ;-)

i don't think you'll save much on postage from Huddersfield (Motorworks, UK dealer for Boxer Design)

Wunderlich do one which also has slots for straps you could try SPC
