lumpy like tractor

hi fellow gser,s thought this may possibly be interesting-after fitting my throttle position sensor around xmas time the bike was unused for a while,when i eventualy started riding again it didnt seem like the same bike,lumpy,vibrating and even trying to cough and stall pulling away from junctions leading to several riverdance type experiences trying to keep the bike upright! today i balanced the throttle bodies to no avail and probed further-the afor mentioned sensor is non adjustable but behind it sits an o-ring which apparantly stops air from being drawn in.the disturbance of fitting my guard had caused an air leak,a dab of grease on the o-ring and my gs is back thrumming like a v-smooth thing!i could easily imagine this occuring to other,s bikes as this isnt a rare accessary.
