Comming upto 18 months old ( the bike not me ) 9500 miles on the clock and it just gets better. Fully loaded 80/90 mph and getting 260 miles to the tank full. :D The only problem I have had was a quick release fuel connector comming undone. Replaced by the dealer just in case. :thumb

Had several Jap bikes in the past this being my first BM and just luv to be out riding as much as poss.

Would I buy another? No need to this bike does everything that I want and more!

Just thought I'd let you all know.

260

I've run out of fuel twice at around 215ish, I bet your still on your original tyres as well :D

Thank gawd for that. Somebody else who rides like me....slowly :D
I have also seen 260 miles to a tankfull , thats without the holes in the filler mod. This is based on miles to reserve plus how many miles the bike thinks I have left in the tank. This was done with panniers fitted.
Had the updated software 'installed' recently so I dont suppose I will get that kind of mileage again as its alleged to make the bike perkier at the expense of mpg.

Oh, and the original Dunlop rear lasted 6000 miles.

Sorry Shep :dabone you lost your bet bike is on its second set of Trailwings. As I do enjoy giving it some stick when not too loaded up.

You've bought Trailwings  I'd like to see your face when you try 020's or similar, they make a great difference compared to Trailwings :D They really suit the 1200 if you mainly do roadwork :thumb

Regards Shep
