I have an iMac and an iBook and both run OSX 10.4.11 and both are PowerPC.
I don't want to replace them as they work just like the day I bought them, however, the new OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and beyond will support Intel based chips only. Also, I have an iPhone and the kids have iTouch's so I want the Macs to run for a good bit longer yet.
So my question is, am I correct in thinking my best option is to go for Leopard 10.5, the last PowerPC operating system release, bearing in mind I'm not about to shell out for new hardware?
If so, anyone got a copy lying around?
