Visiting next week for the day with family and car. I've narrowed car park to catch tram into town to the Radcliffe stop - over 300 spaces but I gather they fill up very quickly.

Anyone know which tram car park is likely to have car spaces left at lunch on monday (coming off M62 from Leeds)?

I spoke to Manchester metro people but wouldn't commit to a definite answer for obvious reasons

Prestwich may be far easier. Closer to the M60 and closer to Manchester center. Bolton has regular trains to Manchester city center and more parking. Look up train fares on line. You could park on my drive and take a £5 taxi to Bolton center then train in. Cheaper than paying for parking and I get a set of decent alloy wheels while you're away! Parking guaranteed and a cup of tea.

Many thanks for the offer Thornley :thumb2

May now have to park at Arndale as the girls want to do a 'bit of shopping'
