Hey Hey ... the races happened today eh? Wonderful!


Sorry about Monday night guys ... massive headache I'm afraid so not really in the mood for nattering.

Met up with our Redstan tho' ... so at least we have seen a few of you lot this Manx.

Got wet today enjoying the racing .... lets hope Friday is good and no more fatalities. Not a good week for them

Rob wants to do motocross - happy and sad! Lets see how he feels once he has actually watched a bit of it and tried it out.

His bike is now working OK and he sends his apologies for keeping dry

Dry, I most certainly was not! By the time I got back to the Hotel, I was soaked and the Bike was abandoned on the Prom...

Went back to it about an hour later and the damn thing fired up again, so coasted-ish it back, down the footpath to the hotel for about 1/4 mile.

Following day, fired up, cough and spluttered for a wee while, then was fine for the rest of the week...

I'm guessing that it was something to do with being on it's side stand in the torrential deluge that day...

Dry, I most certainly was not! I was soaked and the Bike was abandoned on the Prom...

'Bout the same as everyone else,then !! Marshalled Tues and got a bit of a run out after the 2nd Race got pulled.Marshalled Weds and it chucked down after the Chequered Flag dropped.I got soaked heading for Ramsey Sprint on Thurs,so went back to Douglas (my Wet Suit was on my Bedroom floor- in Tamworth ). Marshalled Friday and after doing a bit of "Meeting and Greeting" on Saturday AM,i finally got out to play. Making the most of the Sunshine,i did 6 Laps . 235 Miles of Play Time. Managed to avoid the many Lazer crews out for Business,though. Evening Meal at Sulby Glen then back to Douglas. More rain on Sunday so the Bike went into the Van and i sat watching the MotoGP on the Box.

I've had better weeks on the Island,but, C'est La Vie .

Hey Moo... if it was anywhere else in the world I wouldnt ask, but seeing as I bumped into her totally out of the blue when I was over for the TT.......

Do you know a Nikki Kermode (sp) she's running a B&B over in peel now, born and breed out there but moved to Reading for a few years.....?????

for the moo had a good time on the rock marshalled on the mountain mile wed and Friday met widelode and the moo

second week did a bit of trail riding on the f650 but had a laff at the point of air in the sand dunes

Friday the 11 had a drink with the moo and demot in the miter

home Sunday the 13 smooth trip all in all a good trip got a bit wet

met itchy wheels on the see cat to Liverpool

I don't think I know Nikki .... but I might do by face (if that makes sense). Someone else mentioned her to me when we were marshalling .....can't remember who.....

weird...

anyway .... Redstan and ManxPanzer it was lovely to see you guys with our Jay on that Friday ..... and at least we got one show of Dee Tee in amongst all the rain.

I really enjoyed the racing but where we are is probably gonna change next year so that we can get another vantage point. See you around at the TT if you can make it over .....

and when I get a chance to see Wideload and our Dave (Piebaps) and their mrs's ... is a mystery. Hopefully soon guys Shimster and we are meeting up in The Mitre on the 3rd Oct from 7.30pm ... if you fancy a pint (of lemonade) and a catch up!
