I find it hard to understand why people bother with pirated mapping now that lifetime updates are approx £50 and available every three months or so

The vast majority on this forum have relatively expensive bikes, riding kit and have purchased quite an expensive sat nav yet still want the mapping updates for nowt

50 is a great price, but for some 50 is still 50 thats better in ones own pocket and when the unit is changed the update needs to be bought again.

i can download the update in under 15mins and have it running on the gps in under 20.... mr garmin takes a fair bit longer than that.
