mapsource 2008 problem?

ive just installed Mapsorce city navigator 2008 europe non nt and have unlocked the maps on the pc but when i transfer the maps to my 2610 a message appears on the unit saying that the maps need to be unlocked?
Any ideas folks?

I presume that the unlock code is for your 2610? Do you have any other Garmins?

Any unlock code for 2008 non NT will work on your PC but you need the one specifically tied to your unit and matching the mapping (issued by Garmin) for it to work on the 2610.
