Mapsource 9 & Google Earth

Is there anyone that could offer me some information on using Google Earth with Mapsource 9?

I can see on the view tab in Mapsource, the command " google earth", but it cannot be selected?

How do you get this feature working?

Does this feature enable you to view a route in 3D, or does it just show you waypoints?

Does it do anything else?

Have you got one of your files open (one with waypoints etc)? I don't think you can view in G.E. without having a .gdb file open.

I set out my route in mapsauce & clicked on google earth & it went straight to it

Make a waypoint in the mapsource, then the greyed-out option should become selectable....

Google earth Plus?

I have looked in the help file, and it tells me you have to run earth + which is a subscription service, is that what you have installed?
