Mapsource - changing route start points?

I'm sure there's an easy anwer to this but I'm yet to find it, so help would be appreciated.

I want to follow a route recently posted by AdamA.

It's effectively a circular route. Adam started and ended at the 'Tesco' waypoint near York. I want to start from the nearest waypoint to me, the 'Texaco' waypoint in Stokesley.

How do I get Mapsource to change the start/end without changing the route?

Just ride to the nearest bit of the route and it will pick it up from there

Select "Do not recalculate" in route options too.
