Mapsource funky new thangs

oooooo!!!!

You can now 'name' your unit....my quest is now called 'edna'

(it's not actually, but rather than finding 'quest unit 1231112343' you can assign your unit a name )

And there's a funky little preview mini map thing in the corner of the mapsource screen......

Haven't poked around properly yet to see if there's anything else, but I like the latest bits that I've found so far

The wee box was in the last version


Still think Mapsource is about the worst program I've used


For the length of time it's out it should be much much better

why can we not turn tracks logs into road on the map?

why does it not do like nearly every other drawing program and change whatever tool you have selected into the grab tool when you press the space bar so we could move the map about a lot easier?

finding places is also a bit of a fiddle..... why can we not have a Favorites menu for finds etc.?

This is business... if they made it easy for people to update their maps, they'd never sell new ones...

I agree with this.... it is supposed to work kind of like that way, but ever since the beginning, they've had a "window focus" problem which makes hitting "h" or "z" unreliable...

Isn't this what "recent finds" is supposed to be for?
