Mapsource re-install

Have installed XP and Mapsource CNv8 onto a new hard drive. I used the original discs (v6.9.1) but when I try to open some, but not all, of the original routes I have on file I get this message. Does this mean I should install a later version of Mapsource?

I had something similar a while back and doing an update of the mapsource programme sorted it out for me,

wouldn't do any harm to update mapsource

Yes, exactly.

Install version 6.13.7. Avoid later versions!
