That link only refers to a US update John, is there one for Europe? I can't find it if there is.

Mapsource isn't a map... Mapsource is the program that uses the maps on your PC (and downloads/uploads waypoints, tracks, etc. to your GPS)

But why download it if, as it states, it is only relevant to the US version?
I bet if you look on other download screens you'll see exactly (or very similar) topo update. I know I can remember seeing it before.
I've downloaded it and it's working ok with EU NT CN 2008 and non-NT v8. Have noticed that it doesn't seem to give the description of a POI when you hover the pointer over it though

Best you strip out 6.13.7 if you're going to use that logic:

There are in fact two downloads. One of 2.17MB for us topo and one for 47MB for the update.
Read the Garmin screens...Still does not mean that it will make any improvements but it does tell you what it is doing if you read the info.

It's a case of bad webpage display.... They've put the US Topo update download in with the Mapsource download...
