Mapsource Transfer to Zumo 660 Custom Routes

Good afternoon , is it possible to transfer Mapsource routes to the Zumo 660 Custom route file ?
I`ve tried to do this but it seems to only transfer the waypoints to the Favourites file.I would have thought the the routes would be in the Custom file , but apparently not .
Any help would be appreciated .

Did you check the tickbox against "Routes" when you did the transfer?

We tranfer routes to hundreds of 660's every summer. Usually the device will give a message about having found new data (the route) and asking if you want to import/recalculate it. The routes end up not in the favorites file but in Custom routes or sometimes my data. The device will then recalculate the route- this might not happen for you if the maps on the device and those or your PC are exactly the same. Always happens here because the chances of my maps and the guests maps being the same version are slim.


If you are still having problems PM me with your phone number and I could call you and talk you through it by having a 660 here and going through the process together.

I had to 'import' the routes on a friend's 660 after sending them in order for him to see them.. no message popped up.

They were on the SD card, but not showing up on the 660 till we imported them.

Thanks for your input guys .
It looks as if the problem is now solved . When I transfered the routes the 660 asked if I wanted to recalculate as the maps differ . I said yes & eventually the routes appeared in the Custom routes file . Before when doing this task the 660 seemed to take a long time processing so I switched it off . Operator error I`m afraid !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It`s strange though as I have the same maps on the 660 & my PC , namely Europe 2013.41 . Also the route distances are identical but the route duration differs .
Once again any comments would be appreciated .
