Marley Park?

Hi lads going to see Van and big Tom at the end of the month and was wondering - where is it??? Looked at website but doesn't make it clear if there's transport etc. Where would you suggest us staying - city centre or out around the M50? Coming from the North. Cheers for any suggestions.

Marlay park is in Rathfarnham, about 3 or 4 miles south of the city centre. Not many hotels locally as it is a residential area. Probably best to stay in the city centre.
Enjoy the gig, should be good.

If you Google "marlay park" you should get a location in Google Maps & see how to get there from the M50 (it's not far) There's a couple of entrances to the park & I imagine they're all used on gig nights. There's car parking on site but I don't know how much of it there is or how easy it is to get in & out

Very little parking on site, totally residential area and they block it all off during the gigs to try and minimise disturbance to the residents.
Best option is to stay in the centre and either get the 16 bus or one of the shuttles that run for the gig. Dublin Bus run them from Burgh Quay.
