Garfield2 was right to avoid Matlock Bath today. Mrs Hooky and I can testify as to how it got its name!

That said it was dry when we arrived and we'd had a nice detour to the Cat and Fiddle. We went from Squires down M1 to Crig' off to Holfirth and down though the lovely Peak bit to Buxton etc. Back up M1 M18 A1 to Squires. If anyone knows a scenic rout with less cars and cameras, I'd love to hear it.
