May's night out

Just got off the phone to The Rock and Fountain in Aberdulais
Have booked a table for 10 people on the 28th May for 19.30 eating
about 20.00, They have asked for a deposit of two pounds each to cover
any persons not turning up, so please let me know the numbers as i will
need to confirm this.

Have just got back from Mike the Bike in Cardiff. The Gs has just had it's 24,000 mile service before we set off to Europe. Excellent job as usual, and he and Janine hope to be along.

Sorry Al, but for some reason I didn't see this thread till now.

I couldn't have made it anyway as I was down in Cardiff all day, as my bike was due its service / repair. Don't bloody ask.

To make it up for you mate, if PW is willing how about I sort out the June or July gathering? I have suggested the Cresselly Inn at Pontargothi. It's on the A40 between Carmarthen and Llandeilo and set next to the river, so you can sit outside with your pint.

It's only 4 miles from my house, so I could be tempted to go for a blat before finishing off at the Cresselly.

I'l post some photos when I get my camera. Apart from a beach BBQ, it's the best place round here for a good bar meal and a pint, in a cracking spot.

Taff, why not make it a Sat/Sun meet (Paul and I and the rest have always said it would be a good idea) that way we can all have a ride out and a meal, you never know it may be a good turn out. As I feel it would be a little far just for a blat down to the pub, eat and blat back home for 2300 ish on a week nite (I know other people do it sometimes) And besides I have just de-squared my rear tyre in France , which is why I missed the last meet
BTW baby Davies is due around the 13 July, so I have loads of time on my hands at the moment
