Just Had a very good experience with MCT suspension:thumb2,in stowmarket, suffolk.
I had my rear shock rebuilt, yes rebuilt!!
Ktech said bmw shocks cannot be rebuilt
FTR:tosser said the same(i did say i was/am on an extremely tight budget)and could not even dream of an replacement unit
2 others said it was a no go
Mct said yeah no problem mate, it only took a day as well
and only cost £116 including an extra bush:D:thumb2:thumb2

Indeed, booked in for April for Wilburs to be fitted front and rear and setup.

Same jobbie on ZZR1400 and was very happy with that, these days I won't buy a bike until MCT have given me a verdict on what can (or cannot) be done with the handling.

And ZX9 is due another rebuild !
Very pleased with results!

Good to know that chaps, had the card for MCT on my desk for a while now intending him to get my trumpet booked in.

Excellent to hear good news.. I'll give him a call.

Another thumbs up for these guys.
Got a quote from Maxton suspension and they quoted me over £600 for a new shock tailored to my likeing.

Just phoned MCT and they have just quoted me £189 for the origional shock to be serviced and a heavier duty spring put on it, (me and the mrs are on the heavier side of light ha ha) All I need to do is take the chock off send it to them and tell them what weight the bike needs to carry and they will fit the spring to suit, They said if the spring is off the shelf it would cost me £60 and if they had to get one specially made it would be £100.
So Max price of £189 + postage all in is a very nice tempting offer
