Hey Paul, I can't open that in Mapsource, it gives an error saying"City Navigator Europe v9 not intsalled".
I have never seen this before and my MS is right up to date - any ideas?

Would love to come along if I'm back from a business trip. Would be good to meet some of you guys :beerjug:

Hi Rob,

Nobby, any luck with your route planning.

It did that on mine too. I just clicked ok and it opened anyhow.

HI Adam, some nice routes there, thanks for preparing them, I am hoping to be fit enough to make the run. A question for the more informed than I, is Mapsource proprietary to a particular Nav system, I have a Tom Tom 720 which I use and would like to upload these routes using TT Home? Does anyone know how to do this, does the map have to be converted to a different format?

Mapsource is for the Garmin product line, mine came with my Zumo.
It does support some native file formats but it won't work directly with the Tomtom units, I recall once seeing a converter somewhere on the web.
Maybe worth doing a Google on using Mapsource with Tomtom but is isn't going to be easy.

Sorry chaps, been at an exhibition all weekend :blast

I'll give it a go reet nah :o

Farewell to the Summer Run, Starting and ending at Brampton Hut, Sunday 5th October.

For those with Garmin you can view the route. I'm not great with Mapsource but I think the Route is 'interesting'

There's a stop a Grafham Water for fag and tea. Another at Webbs bike shop in Eye for the same. Total miles is 125 ish, so with stops, chatting and a coffee at start / finish, it should fill a morning (4/5 hours).

May I suggest a start at 10-00am? I'm happy to lead with Paul as TEC if still offered ;)

Thoughts and numbers would be helpfull, have we got 6 or 26

Shit, can't see how to upload the route, help required !!

Read my last post dummy, how do I upload it.

Tis not the same as the BO site ;)

Had a nice spin out to the coast for breakfast yesterday. We had a great time in fantastic weather. No GPS, no maps, no 70 odd posts, just two phone calls, an hour and a half of twisty back lanes through GS country to get there and a progressive hour back. :aidan

When you write out a reply, hit the manage attachments, if the map is stored in My garmin, or garmin, locate it upload it from there,

A tip, just have the map on a separte listing, not with lots all together.

Hope that helps, :)

Doh, same as BO then, what a plumb :o

Done :thumb2

It seems a little messy but it works. Part of the route is repeated, but the road is comnpletely different when reversed, trust me!!

Brampton start and finish.

Head count appears to be:

Nobbyk
Paul13
Rob k
Dave 56
Budweiser (possible)
GS Whipsnade

Any more?
