Hi there, I think I live around the corner from AlanAce1967 in Yaxley, cambridgeshire. I have a silver VFR800. I was invited to join the run via the VFR owner's forum by someone called Paul. Sorry I cannot join you as that Sunday will be the first day of one of my four on-four off shift days at work. Shame, I was starting to look forward to it by reading all the posts.

It seems a little messy but it works. Part of the route is repeated, but the road is comnpletely different when reversed, trust me!!

OK please count me in, as long as my knee problem is recovered enough i'll be there. As for loading this map to a Tom Tom I have given up on the process, happy just to follow. Where are we meeting at Brampton, McD's or the Pub or BP garage or where?

My bikes developed a misfire, booked into Balderstons next Thurs, if sorted ill meet on route if thats ok.

Farewell to the Summer Run, Starting and ending at Brampton Hut, Sunday 5th October.

For those with Garmin you can view the route. I'm not great with Mapsource but I think the Route is 'interesting'

There's a stop a Grafham Water for fag and tea. Another at Webbs bike shop in Eye for the same. Total miles is 125 ish, so with stops, chatting and a coffee at start / finish, it should fill a morning (4/5 hours).

May I suggest a start at 10-00am? I'm happy to lead with Paul as TEC if still offered

Thoughts and numbers would be helpfull, have we got 6 or 26

Would love to join you but don't really fancy doing 70 miles before the run starts. Yes I'm a wimp. Will wait to see if somebody (or me) organises a more Easterly East Anglian run. Have a good day.
