Had a run out there today myself

Got there as a large group were leaving and had the place to myself for a short while when Mick from the forum just happened to turn up as well and then the place got a bit busier again.

Well worth a visit

Looks like Mick was with his Mrs, talking to Dave Mawlson from Lincoln, seems the bikers in our neck of the woods know the same haunts. I was asked to go with them, but something cropped up. Will probably go again before she closes for winter. Seems there is some interest in meeting there, so will have a chat to Jo to see what can be arranged, but won't be for a while yet so will post up here in due course.

Had a great day out, when i got to the Dambuster Memorial a took some pictures and was stood there and then heard the unmistakable sound of the 4 Rolls Royce Merlin engines...
HOLY SHIT
Looked up and the Lancaster was flying in formation right over me!!
Honestly you have no idea how much i love that plane... but to be stood there at that moment was amazing!

Anyway i digress lol
I got to the the cafe about 2.30-3pm had a brew and a Sandwich, Jo is away in France so had a good chat with her dad.
Really nice guy.
Its a good little set up, will deffo go again, even though its a bit of a trek, the area has so many great rides its worth it.
Got home around 7pm back down the M62 in horrid rain....grrr
