Merino t

Sheeps Coat

HI, i've been using a EDZ merino long sleeve top, for the last two winters.
I find it very light, if slightly itchy, so i wear a technical base layer under-neath.It means you don't have to wear so many layers. so to sum up, stick EDZ in e-bay/amazon for the best deal ;)

I'm a great fan of Icebreaker stuff, layered up it'll cope with all year round weather.

I get mine from Cotswolds in Nottingham using the ukGSer discount.

Icebreaker or Rohan merino is the best you can get. There has been some Icebreaker stuff on sale as they changed their product range / styles. Otherwise I tend to wait for the Rohan sale.

Unlike some of the cheaper brands it you shouldn't itch and it will last for years. Still regularly wearing Rohan merino baselayer I bought for going to Norway in 2006. The heavier 200 weight as a winter base layer and the lighter 150 weight is great for summer use even at 20 degrees+

I had a merino long sleeved baselayer from Howies for several years and wore it loads until it wore through the elbows. It was so comfortable, warm in the cold, cosy, cool in heat and never smelled but then Howies got expensive for a while.
They have just bought themselves back from the multinational they sold (out) to and I picked up another which is just as good.
I also have a Merino hoody which is really warm and never had any of them feel itchy.
All the clothing I've had from them is good, tough quality and I don't get paid by them.

+1 for Icebreaker :thumb2

I have the long sleeved, heavier weight zipp neck shirt. As good as it gets.

Quality every time for me when it comes to next-to-the-skin stuff.
