Im not a paying member so couldnt comment on your original thread.....
But; as an ex Tuono owner, I can confirm that its the relay (wee black box approx 3cm x 2 cm x 2cm behind the battery near the ECU), this is a known problem on RSV mille's and Tuono's.
Its a cheap fix.....change the relay..... or if not that, its the starter solenoid, which are also known to break. This can be overcome in an EMERGENCY only... but shorting across the terminals of the solenoid with a screwdriver or similar......
