Last week I received a set of Metal Mule Panniers and frames for fitting to my 2004 F650.
They were installed exactly as the instructions sated but on completion one pannier sits out alot further on the bike and is also higher. I called Metal Mule who said they couldn't understand why this was the case as some of the parts had come of their show bike onto which the panniers were fitted perfectly. Obviously the panniers will still do the job perfectly but I thought they would at least sit evenly. :(
Has anyone else thats fitted Metal Mules had a similar problem and is there anyone else within a reasonable distance that would let me have look at theres to compare.

Show us some pictures of what you mean. I've got them set up on the 1200 with the balance system so that I can have equal sized panniers on each side. Even then, they are ever-so-slightly different from one side to the other though can only tell by measuring with a ruller. Sit at same hight each side. Required special exhaust to make them fit, supplied by MM. Had some difficult fitting the whole thing though due to a few issues though resolved having talked to MM - very helpful.
