Metalic twang / noise when opening throttle.

Hello,

I own 2014 R1200 GS ma hearing some metalic noise when closing and opening the throttle quickly at low revs. I was speaking to other owners of same model or Adventure and they do not experience it? Any ideas anybody?

Honestly it's difficult to identify the source for me when sitting on the bike while riding. It's a bit dull. Might from under me, might from the back. I was suspecting cardan shaft but is it possible in 4500 miles bike?

As mentioned, would guess it’s the exhaust flap.

Is there a threat of any additional damage if I continue riding with it for lets say additional 1000-1500 miles?
