I don't think there are many folks here who use MetroGuide cartography, because this low-end cartographic product will not support automatic route generation on the GPSR itself. (It will automatically create routes on a computer, using MapSource, though).
However - just in case anyone is using an older version of MetroGuide Europe, Garmin has a promotion on upgrades to the version 8 DVD running until the end of June. You send them the paper cover from the CD case of your old copy of MetroGuide and ₤55, and they send you a new copy of MG Europe 8, on DVD only (it's not available on CD).
