Metzeler Karoo (T)

Tried searching the forum, but I am still undecided.

I got a specific question, what would you prefer for trip like this: 900 km highways, two days on gravel roads in Alps (Sommellier for example), and back home, again 900 km on highway.

Did some gravel before, felt OK on Tourances, but would Karoo (T) be better off-road, and will they survive highway?

So my only dilemma is Karoo (T) (got set really cheap ) or Tourances (now on the bike)?

Bike is 07 GS 1200.

For the short distance your going to be doing (highway) so long as it's not too high a speed constantly, then I would run the karoo.

Just don't push them on the bends too much on tarmac. and don't expect them to last forever
