Metzler Tyre query for 1200RT

Sorry for yet another tyre query. Need new tyres for my 2013 RT1200 currently running with PR4's. Great tyre but want to try the new Metzler Roadtec 01. Had conflicting advice as to whether I need the heavyweight version on the RT. I think I need standard tyre front, heavyweight version rear. If anyone has fitted these wondered what you fitted. For anyone reading, had reply from Metzler, confirmed standard front, heavyweight rear. Fitting next couple of weeks and will post how I find them. Did consider the new Dunlop RoadSmart III but going for Metzler.

That's correct, HWM for the rear and standard front for the Roadtec 01. Only did 100 miles with mine but initial impression is great.

Had a set of 01's fitted by main dealer as 3 yr service due and PR4's shot, too early for feedback but definately turn in quicker than previous tyres. Slight dealer error as fitted heavyweight front also but changed next day, their error but these things happen. Only BMW needing the heavyweight front is the K1600 I believe, carcass to stiff for the RT.

I am at 8,000 , squared off now. However excellent tyre. Had the PR 4 for a few sets but find the Metz to be a smoother ride.
Performance I can't really say either one has the edge in the wet or dry.
