Just bought a 650 Xchallenge to add to the bike park in the garage
07 plate 900 miles mint £3995 thought that was a good deal and I liked the look of it what do we know about these all the web tests ive read suggest they are great good bhp and torquefigures
bought it to replace the DRZ not the Harley or the 1200ADV or the turbo hayabusa or the XR650R they are all staying

Mew arrival

I've been looking at these today and they look alot better in the flesh,
the dealer didn't have a xchallenge demo but had a go on the Xmoto,
sadly it was pissing down and £750 excess kinda spoilt the fun,
engine pulls like a train which is all i wanted to know as there's a fair few miles
between me and the mud :)
I've heard good things about them and only one problem where the rear shock
can rub against the mud flap,
cured by a couple of washers either side of the mud flap :thumb

Drove from romford to Plymouth to collect it this morning it looked like a good day when I left at 03:30 this morning, then it rained right up until now, arrived at Ocean BMW at 08:30 to be met with a coffee and a smile which makes a real nice change from the thieving scumbags at Park lane
the bike was wheeled out from workshop where it was given a free service about 5K early by the Valetor who was waiting to give it a full valet which it really didnt need, another coffee paperwork done and the was wheeled out it looked brand new paid the money and they gave me a hand to put it in the back of the van got home still pi**ing down of rain so didnt get to go far ripped it around the block 1st impressions it feels great lifts the front wheel in 1st and 2nd in the wet off the throttle so happy days.

Thanks to Ocean as they really gave me the service that made me feel that I was happy to spend my money there

10 hours driving £130 diesel £3995 for the bike WELL WORTH IT :thumb2

I rang up about that one :blast
Though they did have a couple of new ones at £5250,
but £4k sounds alot better :thumb

Have you broken ya camera :augie

No couldnt manage to resize the pic but thanks to wizzard ive done it so here we go

Rode it tonight for thr first time and in anticipation as the DRZ is so sorted and rides so well I thought it may be a dissapointment but O My God it rides the nuts SOOOO much more power than the DRZ zips up to a ton no probs at all sat at 80 for 10 mins no probs pops a mean wheelie in 2nd with a touch of clutch good 100mtrs lets just hope its as good as the Z offroad which ill be testing tomorrow if its not raining 1st impressions Excellent bike feels real strong Well Happy I got it :D:D:D

Much much more power seems to accelerate much harder not as smooth in the gears seems to have to be reved more than the Z but on the hole it seems a better allround machine
The Z is so sorted it rider super well up against my mates std DRZ its like chalk and cheese whoever buys my Z is going to get a real super bike
