Has anyone tried this front tyre? It replaces the Comp IV (which is still available). Seems to be fek all out there on the internet re objective reviews & comments.

From the product blurb:
"Developed and tested in association with 2010 EnduroWorld Champion team at Husqvarna.

New design (compound, casing, tread pattern, etc.) for enhanced shock absorption performance, which also helps increase the longevity of MICHELIN Bib-Mousse.

Tread blocks: Tapered for extra grip on soft and/or sandy ground, and less prone to jamming or mud build-up & Strengthened for longer block life on hard ground."

Used comp 4 on my missile. However, I am a convert to Maxxis - I am very impressed so far. If it is good enough for knighter it is good enough for me..

Cheers. I get what you mean re Knighter.

Well I thought fek it and ordered a pair of Mousses & Michelin Comp 3e rear & Comp V front tyres.

Will report back after a couple of days out on them.

The Comp V has not proved popular with the lads round here. Good in the mud but not on the rocky / shaley forestry tracks.
Most have now switched to Metzeler Six days fronts.

Hi Windy,

Don't know if it's to late to change your order but the Comp v gets very bad reviews on other more dirt orientated websites.

Cheers

Josh
