Sorry guys, I'm sure everyones sick of hearing about tyres, but....
Saw these Siracs on the michelin site but can't find too much about them. Has anyone tried them or know anything about them? I've just gone through a set of Metz nobbies in 4000km and need something a bit more roadie for the winter.

Thanks

Richard

Used 'em on the front of the K75G/S. Good on the road, not so good on the dirt. Good milage should last a lot longe then the knobbies. I think they are better than the BS trailwings.. but they are all compromises.

Hey Frank...I like the look of your K75GS...are you mad?
My daughters living in Sydney at the moment...she reckons you`re all mad.

Thanks for the replies. Finally after visiting the local dealer it turns out that they don't make Sirac's big enough for a GS. Following that, the next best option seemed to be the Metz Enduro 4, which I've settled on. I'll let you know how they go.

I quite like it, had a K75S till it was written off, great bikes would not mind having one again as a second bike as I do so much motorway work.

I rode four of them at various times at work and every one of them had a loud whinning fuel pump. 8 hours with that row used to do me ed in.

Must have been a pommy fuel pump then. :P

How could you tell the difference :D

I've mk1 of the large fuel tank now ... over 30 litres .. the pump is now where the electrical box is on a standard K so it is quite low and lives in the last 4 litres of fuel. I think that helps. However the raised exhaust .. a lazer off a Duc elephant is way too loud so I'm probably deaf to any other noises on the bike. Gota work on that ruddy noisy exhaust...

Tyres ... the tourance are the most roadie tyres with a little off road capability and should be available in your size... I've used them on both rears of the K75G/S and the R80G/S.
