Last time I looked the forecast for tomorrow was sunshine all day:bounce1

So I've mapped out a little day. Out of the house in Newton Mearns bright and early, around 07:00, off up Loch Lomond side, over the rest and be thankful and down to Tighnabruaich.

Ferry across from Portavaddie to Tarbert and then Oban, Fort Bill, west to Lochailort then south and loop around through Acharacle and across the Corran ferry and back home past Glencoe, Crianlarich, Callander, Thornhill, Fintry, Kirkintilloch and home,

Google says 385 miles and 10.75 hrs travelling. Hope the forecasters are correct:D, especially as I'm still on the Heidi K60's that have done about 10,000 miles so far including my big summer trip.

Anybody wanting to join me is welcome. Could meet up at the Esso garage on the A82 before the Dumbarton turn or any of the visible layby's up the west side of Loch Lomond.

1150GS - Graphitan with Verns panniers, now slightly cleaner than this:-

Don't forget that 5 of those miles will be a nice rest on the ferry.:D

That sounds like one hell of a run, I'd like to do that but I sorned the bike last weekend, I dont think my trusty old CB250 would be able to cover it in one day, enjoy your day, hope the weather holds for you. i had a wee jolly to ullapool a couple of weeks ago the weather was stinking, it finished this year for me, I'm completely sick of getting soaked on the bike........
