pulled up outside the bank last week and there was an 1150 parked with German plates. Blue and white team colours, carbon all over and looked fantastic. The team was called matisse? Can that be right? Does it ring any bells. All I get from an internet search is the painter or a jewellers. To be honest, if i had the money, balls to the 1200. i'd have one of those.

that would be it! and i can back up uncle albert as i am in wimbledon as well. outside the natwest bank. lovely bit of kit. made me dribble and spent about 20 minutes looking it over. too scared to sit on it in case i set the alarm off. next time maybe.

The essence of the GS "is" the beak

Cripes!

On first glance i couldnt work out why the thing looked so ungainly and ugly.

It's the beak.

It needs it beak!

needs a beak?? are you all mad?? it looks light and svelte and it can still eat up the road and rough. adding a beak would be too much. no beak is the new beak. :P

The ‘essence’ of a GS enduro is the ‘beak’ and the ‘wire’ wheels!

The new GS is also going to need the ‘addition’ of the ‘wire’ wheels (UKP 250 option) to retain the enduro’s good looks.

Is it a ‘given’ that most purchasers will opt for the ‘wire’?

As an aside, do many bikes get ordered without the ‘heated’ grips?

Kind regards,
banana
