Hi
I would like to transfer some music I have on mini disk to my computer so I can add it to my phone or MP3 player?
Any ideas please.
Thanks
Gary

get a digital recorder with USB and analog record it in and that'll do a real time conversion. some PC's can connect via optical but... there's not many... Or capture it into your PC but you may need a MXO-2 or M-audio capture card, it's a external device which costs between a few hundred pounds+.

of buy the tracks again....itunes etc.....

Otherwise I've got a recorder that will do it send me the MD and a 16Gb USB key and I can drop the tracks over for you...for a beer....

what mini disc device do you have?
some can connect to a PC digitally, others you will have to take the music off analogue as if you were recording from a record player to a cassette.

Headphone out to line in unless you want to spend a bit of cash. Depends on how many tracks really as to whether its worth buying kit to do it or just buy the music again.

Download Audacity (Free) to your computer, connect your minidisk to computers microphone input and record onto WAV format. Then rip to MP3 on the computer (media player should do it). You might be able to record in MP3 format but I've never tried it so cant be sure.
