Have searched the forum for solutions to my requirement for mirror extenders that will fit the 12GSA, but without success.

Has anyone found mirror extenders that will suit the 12GSA? The ones from NN are Wunderlich items. Their website specifically points out that the front fog light switch restricts the position of the extender on that side.

It does a bit , But I have fitted them to my 2012 GSA and find the left hand mirror still gives a much better vision than without it ! Im 6,2 and fairly broad !:)

Hi Bill

Similar dimensions to me. In fairness to NN, he did say that I could return them if they did not achieve what I wanted.

Incidentally, do you find that there is an increase to the mirror vibration or that the re-positioned mirrors foul the screen?

No. I didn't have any problems with fouling or vibration. and I have a bigger than standard screen

Thanks Bill and Autogs

On the basis that NN said I could return them if not satisfied, I will buy a set of risers from him.

MIRROR EXTENDERS- AUX LIGHT SWITCH

I bought these second hand on here so dont know their origin but they did initially interfere with the switch, slight adjustment no problems now.GSA 010.jpg

Seen these for sale (naturally, cannot remember where!) and did think that the fog light switch ruled their use out.

Do you find that the left mirror is more useable, even though the extender is not fitted as originaly intended? Most of my riding is in Europe.

The Squaredeals items might be worth a punt anyway as they are only £7!

no big difference in lh mirror , still gives a much better view than without extenders:beerjug:

Bought some Touratech ones second hand off here. I've had them a wee while and fitted them yesterday and they work a treat and don't interfere with the foglamp switch either. They have a taller extension than the one in the photo so there are two different heights Touratech part number 040-0649.

There's a pair of these 'universal' Touratech mirror extenders with both height options so they work with the foglamp switch on the 1200GSA currently at £9.99 on Ebay

Getting on great with the secondhand ones i bought although they only came with the longer spacers and mounting bolts.
