Mirror extension for GSA with spot/fog lights query

Because you want independant control of the Aux Lights as it depends on conditions whether you want them on or off.

I have mine on all the time :augie
Therefore it would be ideal for mine to be wired to the headlight, but I don't like messing with electrics :eek

Same height as me, but I had forgotten that as well as a Ztechnik tall screen I also have 20mm bar risers so that would affect the situation regarding the screen fouling.

They can't flash you if you are behind them plus they are probably trying not to crash into oncoming vehicles as they are blinded by high level fog lamps in their mirrors. It does depend how you have them adjusted mind you but next time you are right behind a car just check to see how your lights are affecting them...

I also believe it's a legal requirement to have independant switching of fog lamps which was my original point. Doesn't apply if they're spots hooked up to high beam.

I had a similar problem seeing past my arms/shoulders, instead of trying to widen the mirrors I made them higher by cutting a couple of lengths off an old mirror stalk and threading one end and drilling and tapping the other end, screw the mirror into the extension peice and then fit this as normal into the handlebar mount, the mirrors are now a good 3" higher and because I used an old stalk the finish and diameter is the same as the original. :jibber
