Hay,

Looking on getting the Mitas E10 Dakar's on my 2006 gs1200 and was wording if anyone has them and what do they think in the dry and the wet?

:)

FWIW I've used them on my old Husky 630 and ~ great in loose stuff and rocky stuff, ok in mud. Good on road (very good actually) and predictable in the wet. They wore quickly though, the tread looks half worn when brand new as it's not very deep.

Oh, and the yellow stripped Dakar has very stiff sidewalls, oh what fun they were to get on (and off) the wheel.

I put a set on my GSA for my Iceland trip in 2017. These took me on the road from Norfolk to Wales for a weekend of off-roading and back again, the Iceland trip itself and then some afterwards. As previously said, I too found them good on the road in both dry and wet and most importantly, predictable. They were also great off road. I'd have them again on my GSA if I needed a tyre like that.

I use my GS1200 off road and on road you see and I have the E07 at the min and it has been amazing! just on wet mud and grass just slippy and I would just like to get better off road tiers, I know a mate of mine have the wilds and have only got about 1800 miles out them and I would not like anything that wears that quick but I am open to ideas :)
