Get me on the mono register Rob picked the little beut up today (photos here soon ),callin it Mitsy after the wife (got two big pots and backpressure).Any way shes been lying up for 3 years and the shaft gaitors perished ,can you loosen the shaft bolts and squeeze the new gaitor in ,or do you have to loosen the pivots and slide the arm back to get new one on .cheers Big Jets:bounce1

Well Done. Looking forward to seeing the pictures :thumb2

You need to unbolt the drive shaft and pull the swinging arm back. I always find it easier to leave the pivots out when you are pushing the gaiter onto the back of the gearbox. Once it's on just pull the swinging arm back and refit the pivots.

I dropped the digi camera a week ago and its knacked ,I will get one tomorrow wait to you get a eyefull of this ,Jurys out for the moment but its growing on me,pics will explain my dilema.:thumb

Translation for the rest of the world ,I am so clumsy because Buckfast Tonic wine is giving me the shakes and I will have to stop drinking it .
