Does anyone know which leathers (2 piece jobbies) are mix and match compatible, I'm talking the zips that join top to bottom and vice versa?
I've just picked up some ArlenNess leather pants in a sale and would like to know if other makes jackets can zip to them without having to arrange to have the zipper stiched in. My old Dianese jacket isnt compatible as the zip is too small a guage, though it does start from the left and rotate anti clockwise around gut (viewed from above) , from memory Alpinestars zips start on right and rotate clockwise . Any one any clues tips?. PS the Arlenness starts on left and rotates anti clockwise and also has the optional short zip at back.

cheers

How about going to a tailors / dress shop and see if the can change one of your zips to fit the other, only about £10 here in the north west?

Good leathers come with the "other half" of the zip attached. All you do is take the two "other halves", line them up in the middle, and stitch them togeather to give an "adaptor".
