I'm not normally one for mixing tyres, but I'm running an Anakee rear which has a good few miles left in it but my front needs replacing. I bought a Front Pilot Sport for £10 !!! (Impulse bid on fleabay, part worn its done less than 100 miles) Intention was to fit it to my spare set of wheels and find a rear to match, but just wondering how it would fair matching it with the Anakee rear.

p.s was going to post this in 'The Font Off All Wisdom' but got a message telling my I didnt have permission

up untill recently my gs had a trial attack rear and a tourance front, I never care wether they match or not, have allways mixed brands, never had a problem, others have a different view :thumb2

If you are happy with the mix of tyres then that's all that matters! I had a ZX9R a while back and had a Metzler racetec on the rear and a Bridgestone BT021 on the front. Never had a problem even on trackdays!
