If, like me, you worry deeply about prepping your bike for winter roads, but are so fundamentally lazy that despite all the fretting you still can't be arsed to clean the bloody thing :P (I do it about once a year) - then I can heartily recommend Mo-clean Bike Valeting in Kings Cross.

Seriously, I've been meaning to clean my bike for at least six months now - and worrying for three about getting it prepped as I ride every day, all year.... and I just cannot make myself sort it out!!

Anyway.... I finally sourced some of this ACF50 anti-corrosion stuff this morning - took the bike straight down to this guy, gave him the can -- an hour later and the bike is sparkling like brand new and fully prepped up for my winters' riding!

He puts the bike up on a sort of roll-on bench and uses a steam thing (not high-pressure) to get rid of all the crap from everywhere (no really - it's spotless). Then depending on which schedule you choose from the menu, waxes, buffs, polishes etc.

Great service - friendly bloke - highly recommended. Tell him Neil with the Blue and White GS sent you if you go down.

Happy riding!

BTW - I have no links etc to this co. - just been looking for a service like this for years and genuinely happy (which makes a nice change) with the service :D

depends on which wash service you choose - but £20 - £50. Got to be worth it to avoid a long miserable day spent on your knees scrapping the skin off your knuckles :D

...or you could just leave it another year, and have a couple of good nights down the pub! :thumb

Odd time of the year to chose to get your bike cleaned though if you only do it occasionally???

Mo-Clean bike valet....

Tried the link to Mo-Clean to no avail!!?!...where abouts in Kings X are they exactley?...i'm waiting on a delivery of ACF50 from Nippy's myself and the thought of somebody else doing all the hardwork sounds too good to be true!
:clap Cheers........

Funnily enough a local car valeter told me that they can valet bikes for £30.

I wouldn't do it normally, but if time was short and you were selling the bike, I would definately consider it.
