Mobile phone and GPS on same Ram mount?

I have a Garmin 2610 mounted on the speedo mount (see plagarised piccie)
I want to have my new Samsung Tough phone (2100) mounted one either the handlebars or beside the GPS. The phone is waterproof etc etc
Any suggestions please

is the single ball detachable from the migsel mount, though? presumably just bolts on at the back, but without seeing the back ............

The Migsel speedo bracket uses RAM-B-236 (3/8" thread) the suggested link for RAM-B-217-1 has cast male post with female 1/4" NPT (national pipe thread) cut into it I foresee

Chad of this parish 'makes' a very nice 1150GS shelf and it can festooned with balls, for multiple mounts.
