Monday Roy Bridge to Dalwhinnie

Was the last minute on the way back in the dark :D

Nice day again here, might head up there later for a play, then again, I’ve got a fish to catch and tyres to get fitted. Good wee vid, :thumb2

What a great road that is ...

Last time I did it I was on an 1100RS heading west. From Lossie, over the Dava moor to A9 Dalwhinnie and then to Fort William. What a great run. Prior to that on a 1000RS when I nearly got wiped out by an HGV overtaking a line of cars on the outskirts of Roy Bridge. Certainly showed up the shortcomings of ATE calipers.

Did I see you heading north on the A9 around midday, near Pitlochry? Black and silver 12GS and Black / grey twat suit? (Like mine!)

Camcorder

This is only the second time I've tried this Panasonic NV-GS60 but a good excuse to try and get a good run over the Dukes Pass, up Loch Eck, something on the Fort William to Mallaig road, Loch Clunie, bits of Skye, Applecross to Torridon, Loch Maree, phew!!! going to be a busy year.
Thanks for looking :thumb2

so pritty much all the best wiggly roads in scotland,
how is the dukes pass this time of year ive no been on it for about 3 months ,is it gravelly or has it cleared yet after winter?

Still snow on some roads !
The road in the vid, they re-laid a couple of years ago and put gravel on the verges. When the lorries/coaches pass each other they dig the gravel out from the verges and spread it all over the road.
Its worth watchin that road, not that Ive ever been caught out up there :augie

How about Lochgilphead to Oban? Tarbet to Cambelltown on the eastern side or, or, or..... ach there's so many. Give us a shout if you're short of company. I'm just down the road anyway.

I never fell of today but, it did get a bit silly at times. Seriously good, but still
keep your eyes open as we all must anyway :thumb2

Loch Eck

Thanks, Archie Beg, will do though at this time of year most runs are on impulse like yesterday I found that the temperature had reached a high for the day of 8 degrees so had to get out and film the Loch Eck Road.

:clap

Always a good run on that road.
I'm keeping an eye on Thursday or Fridays weather forecast. Hoping to get away for a day then but we'll need to see how things develop.

Can't make Saturdays run to Oban unfortunately. Got a Wedding on Saturday with an overnight in the Seamill Hydro..................The wallet has been told to brace for impact!!
