Richie Moore of Moorespeed has just dynoed a freshly built airhead engine at 103 bhp at the crank and 86bhp at the rear wheel. It's going into a sidecar racer and is racing at the weekend in Anglesey. 980cc,single plug, serious cam profile and gas flowing. Was still making power at 8400 rpm.The man's a genuis!!:beerjug::bounce1:clap:bow:bow

Gearbox's carefully re built. He's done several at 90 and a bit,and no problems at all with gearboxes.Guess they're all pretty tough.

Rob,

I'll bring project bike up when it's finished so you can have a go,I think you'll be surprised/impressed how it all comes together.I'll then take it up to Chesterfield so MickDB1 ,whom I bought the orginal worn out 80GS off can see what I've done to his old "green laner". :thumb2

An update on the 1st outing for the sidecar,3 wins out of 4 races at the weekend and the lap record for classic sidecars at Anglesey. Not bad for a 1st stab. It's off to race the Gemans next weekend in Holland.:beerjug:

Oh, and the gearbox was fine, even after putting the power through a 5" racing slick.:augie
